Let's say you have a folder full of random pictures and you want to select a couple of them and move to another location or maybe send it to a friend. Well, this is easy you might say, I just hold down CTRL key and select what I want. True, but now remember all the times you spent selecting ... let's say 20 pictures, then made a mistake and click something/somewhere else and lost your selection. NOW WASN'T THAT FRUSTRATING?!?!? You must redo all that work!

Well, you get a little help from a feature in Vista that is very helpful for a change: the "Use check boxes to select items" option!
