If, for whatever reason, you want to hide one of your drives from control panel, this is how you can achive it.
This is a tutorial created in Windows Vista, but applies to Windows 7 and Windows 8 too.
The trick is that through Disk Management we can remove the letter assigned to that particular drive, so Windows won't show it anymore. By the way, this cand also be used to change the letter of a partition to whatever you want (eg. from D to X). Be careful though, you don't want to end up deleting partitions or anything!
